A Recovery-Focused Giving Program Powered by Tulong Healthy Communities Corp (THCC)

Sober Charities is a compassionate initiative dedicated to breaking financial barriers for individuals rebuilding their lives in sober living housing. Operated by the nonprofit Tulong Healthy Communities Corp, this program ensures that no one loses access to safe, structured housing or essential recovery resources due to financial hardship.

💙 Our Mission

We support individuals in early recovery by funding:

  • 🛏️ Sober Living Bed Sponsorships (up to $500/month per resident)

  • 🧼 Basic Needs & Hygiene Kits

  • 🚗 Transportation Assistance for job interviews, medical appointments, and school

  • 📚 Vocational & Educational Training Support

🎯 Annual Goal: $100,000

Every dollar raised directly helps residents maintain stability, develop self-sufficiency, and stay on track with their recovery goals.

💡 Why It Matters

Too often, people in recovery face the impossible choice between housing and other basic needs. Sober Charities steps in to provide life-changing support at the moment it’s needed most—keeping people housed, hopeful, and healing.

📅 Community Engagement & Fundraising

Sober Charities is fueled by community-driven events, monthly donors, business sponsorships, and creative giving campaigns. Join us for:

  • Recovery in the Park Festival (Summer)

  • Sober Gala & Silent Auction (Fall)

  • Sponsor-a-Bed Campaigns

  • Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Challenges

  • Super Bowl Squares & Raffles

Every event and donation makes a measurable difference—and our impact reports and donor stories show exactly how.

A colorful assortment of candies, including a large rainbow lollipop, Sassy Tarts, Smarties, and Starburst, is displayed on top of a magazine page discussing sugar addiction. Pink, green, and blue plastic spiral toys are placed around the candies. The page contains information about sugar consumption, a quiz on sugar addiction, and a recipe for crack pie.
